Somehow Martyn Turned Our Crazy Aussie Into a Model!
We honestly cannot recommend Martyn highly enough. From the moment we arrived, he was calm, confident, and completely understood how to handle Ripper and all of his chaotic Aussie energy. What we thought would be a stressful shoot with a very high-energy dog turned into such an easy, enjoyable experience thanks to Martyn’s patience and skill.
Not only is he incredibly talented behind the camera, but his customer service is second to none. He’s welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can tell immediately that he understands dogs, their personalities, and how to bring out the absolute best in them.
The viewing session afterwards was just as amazing. Martyn guided us through choosing the perfect image and frame for Ripper’s personality, markings, and character — and the final result honestly blew us away. The frame is absolutely beautiful and captures Ripper perfectly.

This won’t be our last shoot — we’ll 100% be lifelong customers. If you’re even remotely considering getting professional photos of your dog done, do it. Martyn makes the entire process effortless and the end result is something truly special.
Dog Portrait
Having our dog, Maple, photographed by Martyn was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We were not sure what to expect, and were a little nervous that Maple may not behave, but we needn’t have worried. Martyn made us and Maple feel at ease, and is clearly well versed in working with dogs who don’t entirely want to cooperate!
The photo session itself felt very relaxed with plenty of time to try various approaches to get Maple into good positions for Martyn to capture. As a result, Martyn was able to take a good number of great shots, which made narrowing them down a challenge!
The follow-up session to select photos and presentation styles was similarly relaxed. With the ability to view the pictures in various presentation styles during the session, it proved easier than we’d anticipated to arrive at some final decisions.
Overall, a fantastic experience leaving us with pictures that we will continue to enjoy for the years to come.
Brock had a fantastic time in the Woods for his pawtrait session. Lots to sniff at and a mix of dappled sunshine and cool spaces. Martyn knew all the good spots, logs, fallen trees and long paths. It was a great experience and great to capture him in nature.
